We know each other much better than we allude to.
We each think, describe, and pretend that we are only a finite number of years in age.
But we are, all of us, timeless!
……….
I remember seeing you in paint and clay, wielding spears, a shield, and club, charging out of primeval mists!
For hundreds of thousands of years, you and I have entrapped, murdered, and diminished each other countless times.
So let’s stop saying it was someone else, someone in the past…
It’s always been us, and still!
In truth, there are no ancestors, or “others”.
Don’t tell me your age, as if you just got here and will soon be leaving…
I know you are hundreds of thousands of years, at least!
We’ve known one another almost forever, doing the same things over and over as if we don’t remember!
We are rooted in our foul memories, reacting every moment in despair and fear!
All of us are the same – mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, trapped in these cold patterns, doing the same things, deeply buried within them…
If we might ever be more than this, we must let go of fear and how we think and imagine we are.
In Truth, we are all the same at heart.
This is a powerful reminder that our shared history connects us in profound ways.
